Driving through some small villages to Besakih as you make your way to a weaving factory, you will see the famous painted ceiling at the old ‘Palace of Justice’ in Klungkung.
Visiting a school of painting in Kamasan and the ‘Mother of Temple’ in Besakih is Bali’s most holy and Indonesia’s biggest Hindu temple.Built in the 11th century, in an altitude of 1,000 meters on the slopes of Mount Agung, its breathtaking views will have you captivated. Passing amazing rice terraces you make your way onto Bali Aga, and visit it’s villages there and then continue to Candi Dasa on the East Coast.
On the way back, visiting the bat caves are a must, with literally thousands of bats to see and take photographs of.
